Biography
Saya Endo was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1990. She started playing the piano since 5 years old.
In 2001 at age 11, she won the Special mention prize at Koushinkan Junior Piano Competition.
She entered to Senzoku Gakuen Music high school, piano course in 2006.
There, she met with a Dutch pianist Louis Leerink and took his lesson on "piano special performance method".
In 2008 at age 18, she won the Jury’s Special Awards at Pitina Piano Competition. In the same year, she decided to start studying vocal music to enrich her piano performance from the aspect of singing and breathe.
In 2009, she entered to Senzoku Gakuen College of Music, major in vocal, second major in piano. Next to these studies, she started visiting Europe every year and gained experiences vigorously as a musician.
In 2011 in the Netherlands, she followed a private lesson from Williem Brons and received good reviews.
In 2012, she followed a master class from Boris Bekhterev.
In 2013, she was graduated from Senzoku Gakuen College of Music and received Bachelor’s degree in Voice Music.
After she graduated from College, with her enthusiasm to spread the joy of music, she started teaching piano for both young and old people. She also held solo concerts and participated in chamber music orchestra once in every 2 or 3 months. She participated in many concerts for example, Chopin concert and J.S.Bach concert which was sponsored by musica Humana.
In 2014, she listened to Vitaly Samoshko’s performance and she was deeply impressed. She got in touch with Vitaly Samoshko and decided to follow his class, in Ghent, Belgium.
In 2015, she entered to Royal Conservatory of Ghent,Major in Piano and started following class from Vitaly Samoshko.
In 2016, she performed with a flutist, Patrick Beuckels and received good reviews. She received the top score in the examination recital at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent.
In 2018, she performed in Gent Festival "Gentse Vleugels"
From 2017, gives piano lesson in Ghent.
In 2021, she got a master diploma with the highest points. Also received a performance award for the master proof.
